Meet the new Mid Canterbury SenseHub Dairy Team

The South Island SenseHub Dairy sales and training team has three additional new team members onboard who are ready to help with your monitoring needs. Learn more about the new team below.

Introducing Renee – Your new trainer for Mid Canterbury & West Coast

Renee has recently stepped into the role of trainer for Mid Canterbury and the West Coast, bringing with her a wealth of rural experience and a passion for supporting farmers. Renee joins forces with our brilliant sales reps, Laura and Kayla, bringing fresh energy and a strong rural background to the role.

Renee brings a solid foundation in sheep and beef farming, along with experience in dairy and assisting with artificial insemination (AI). Her practical understanding of farm life means she’s well-equipped to support clients with real-world insight and a down-to-earth approach.

Outside of work, Renee’s weekends are just as action-packed. She spends her time as an unpaid groom and truck driver for her three daughters competing in showjumping events across the country, proving she’s no stranger to hard work and high horsepower!

Introducing Lauren – Your dedicated monitoring sales specialist for the Upper South Island

Joining our team with over two decades of industry knowledge, Lauren is now your go-to monitoring sales specialist for the upper South Island. With plenty of hands-on dairy farming experience—including currently contract milking on a Canterbury farm with her partner and children, Lauren brings real-world insight and credibility to every conversation.

Her strong background in agriculture and ag sales means she understands what drives results on-farm. Lauren is passionate about helping Kiwi farmers discover the value of our monitoring products, not just because they work, but because she’s seen the difference they make firsthand.

Lauren works closely with our expert trainer Courtney to ensure every customer gets the most out of their investment. But make no mistake, Lauren’s here to drive growth, deliver solutions, and help you make smart decisions that benefit your bottom line.

When she’s not out connecting with farmers, Lauren’s in her element, tending to her flower garden, enjoying quality time with her family and beloved animals, or breathing new life into old furniture through her love of upcycling.

Introducing Kayla – Monitoring sales specialist for Mid Canterbury & West Coast

Say hello to Kayla, our awesome monitoring sales specialist supporting the hardworking farming communities of Mid Canterbury and the West Coast. Raised on dairy farms in Southland, Kayla brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a strong background in agricultural sales. Now based in Canterbury with her partner – an ag contractor, and their four dogs, she’s passionate about animal health and driven to make a real difference on-farm.

Kayla works closely with our new trainer Renee to ensure farmers get the most out of our products and support. Her practical knowledge and genuine care for the industry mean she’s not just here to sell—she’s here to help farmers thrive.

This is Kayla’s first season not calf rearing, and she’s embracing the change with energy and focus. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, hunting, and spending time outdoors with her loyal dogs.
